Ascend.NET est une bibliothèque de contrôles Windows Forms écrite en C# pour Visual Studio 2005 et .net 2.0.
Le but est de proposer des contrôles flexibles et faciles d'utilisation pour une utilisation massive.

Un contrôle affichant une ligne supportant les modes : unie, dégradé et glass. Les couleurs, le sens et le type de dégradé sont configurables.

Voici un panel supportant les modes de couleurs solide, gradient et glass. Les couleurs, le sens, le pourcentage de transition, la luminance et le mode de dégradé sont configurables. Les bordures sont aussi configurables et il est possible d'arrondir les angles.

Si vous ne souhaitez pas prendre part aux développements, nous avons aussi besoin de testeurs, de rédacteurs pour les fichiers d'aide et de personnes pour rédiger des exemples simples. Moins de temps les développeurs passent à faire ces choses et plus nous avons le temps de développer des fonctionnalités et des outils sympa.

The Ascend.NET controls are a collection of Windows Forms controls written in C# targeting Visual Studio 2005 and .NET 2.0.
The intent is to provide controls that are flexible but easy to use that will hold up well under heavy usage.

Even if you don’t see yourself working in the control code we need structured testers, help file and simple example developers. The less time the control developers spend in these areas the more cool tools and features we can develop.

I think we should create a stacked type control and a single stand alone control. I want to avoid the system rendering of the controls. It will make the control too heavy and I really think Microsoft is moving away from this model in their new applications. The controls should be container controls so that any other controls can be contained.

A split container control that allows gradient backgrounds and bar. The control will support all of the functionality of the .Net framework split container. The backgrounds and borders of the panels will be customizable with the standard gradient panel options. The split bar may be rendered with a gradient split bar.

Sorry, I should have made the current GradientSplitBar control a real splitter in version 1. I use the existing control in larger controls but it will be more useful as an actual splitter.

A tab control that allows gradient tabs. The control will support most of the functionality of the .Net framework tab. The ability to hide tabs will also be supported. I will not support system render directly. This would make the control too heavy and I think it is the reason for some of the shortcomings of the existing tab control. I may support the general look of the system tab. Some shape manipulation of the tab will be supported.
