TextRenderer.DrawText does not honor alpha

Has anyone seen where the color used in

TextRenderer.DrawText has an alpha of less than 255 but the DrawText method ignores it?

The GDI+ method DrawString does honor the alpha value. The GDI method uses a brush but the alpha value is set at the color level before being added to the brush. The DrawText method uses a color but again the alpha is set in the color before being passed to the method.

it's ture, seems like we can only use DrawString() if we want to use alpha

TextRenderer also will not rotate the text. You have to create a bitmap and rotate the bitmap. The same technique can be used to have the text use a alpha setting but I wish the class would just work better.
